Stimulus Transfer Instructions

Your Economic Impact Payment Card (EIP Card) contains the money you are receiving for COVID related relief. The EIP Card is sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service as part of the US Debit Card Program.

To transfer your stimulus payment from the issued debit card to your YB account, please follow the instructions below.

What you’ll need
  • Your stimulus card (also called an EIP card)
  • Your social security number
  • A 4-digit PIN
  • Yellowstone Bank's routing number: 092905142
  • Your bank account number
STEP 1: Setting Up Your PIN
  1. Call 1-800-240-8100 (the number listed on the letter attached to your card).
    1. NOTE: You may have to try multiple times before you get through.
  2. Select option #1 for English.
  3. You will be instructed to type your 16-digit card number, then hit the pound (#) sign.
  4. To verify your identity, you will then provide the last 6 digits of your SSN.
  5. The next prompt will instruct you to type in your 4-digit PIN, then retype the PIN to confirm.
  6. Once your PIN is established, you may hang up the phone.
STEP 2: Transferring Funds
  1. Call 1-800-240-8100 (the number listed on the letter attached to your card).
    1. NOTE: You may have to try multiple times before you get through.
  2. Select option #1 for English.
  3. Select option #1 again for customer service.
  4. Enter your 16-digit stimulus debit card number, then hit the pound (#) sign.
  5. Enter the PIN you created previously.
  6. After giving your balance, select option #2 to make a transfer.
  7. Select option #3 to set up a transfer.
  8. Select option #2 to provide the banking information.
  9. When prompted, provide Yellowstone Bank's routing number (listed above), then press #1 to confirm.
  10. When prompted, provide your account number, then press #1 to confirm.
  11. You will be asked to verify if it is a checking or savings. For checking press #1, for savings press #2.
  12. Once you’ve provided your banking information, select option #1 to initiate a transfer.
  13. You will then press #1 again to initiate a transfer to an account you’ve already provided information for.
  14. You will be asked how much you’d like to transfer, including cents. For example, a $600.00 transfer will be typed as "60000". A $1,200.00 transfer would be "120000".
  15. Confirm this transfer by dialing #1 when prompted. The automated system will let you know the transfer has been processed and at that point you may hang up the phone.
